Why my son?

13/07/2014 23:22

Every 40 second someone in the world take their own life, around one millon people in one year! In Sweden it's one person every 6 hour and that is the most common cause of death for people between 25 - 44 years of age. And most of them die trying to solv a problem that they can't see any solution to at that moment. Soem have said that "sucide probably is the most preventeble cause of death" but the problem we have as parents, wifes or husbands, girlfriends or boyfriends, friends and coworkers is that we most of the time don't know how to find out, how to understand the signal most of them give, we're looked into a lot of myths and taboo's and don't have the education to know what to do or how to act. That education take one hour and that's why I tried so hard to bring QPR Gatekeeper to my country. With that knowledge I could have saved my son the day he made his forever decission.

We hear, read or experience suicide in one or another way, because that the problem is so big there is always someone who know someone who lost a blood relative or a friend by suicide. But we don't talk so much of the story behind, what it was that brought that person to the edge where the pain became so bad so only death seemed to be a solution. I will try to explain why my son came to that point, it's not esy in a few words or to make it short but I will give the hole story in a book I plan to write.
